Meet Stefani
Stefani Bishop gets up WAY too early in the morning to co-host the Morning Show with Rick Armon on WXRO. A recent transplant from Chicago, she spent most of her years being a theatre rat and doing Improv around the city.
Feeling a bit like she’s in an interigation room with a single light bulb a’swingin’, she answers the following questions:
What's your favorite TV show?
My favorite tv shows are of the documentary kind; anything on the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, A&E – it all trips my trigger. I love “Intervention” and “Paranormal State.” I get giddy like a school girl when I hear a promo for “Egypt Week,” or “A History of the Presidents.” Don’t get me wrong, I’m not ALL cerebral. I like The Simpsons, Family Guy, Spaced (if you haven’t seen it, get it NOW!)
What’s your favorite music?
I’ve never been a genre person. When you say you are one thing, then you imply that you are not any of the others, does that make sense? I’m more of an artist person; I have everything in my car from Marilyn Manson to Brad Paisley, Gogol Bordello to Muse – and beyond.
What's your favorite movie?
Wow… that’s quite a question. I LOVE movies (check out my blog “The Cinema File”) and it seems almost impossible to pick A favorite! I’ll, instead, tell you what movies I can watch again, and again, and again… “The Princess Bride,” “Repo! The Genetic Opera,” “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Kill Bill,” “Equilibrium,” “Army of Darkness,” “Amelie,” “The Orphanage,” “Sweeney Todd (with George Hearn and Angela Lansbury),” and ANYTHING with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer. They could make a feature film about grass and I would watch it while laughing uncontrollably.
What's your favorite food?
Spicy! Anything spicy! I’m also a huge fan of my slow cooker. It makes me feel like I can actually cook.
What's your favorite beverage?
During the week I drink coffee. Constantly. On the weekend Jim Beam slides in on occasion.
What's your favorite sports/hobby?
I love watching movies – especially really bad horror movies. If it’s straight to video, then my heart gets all a’flutter. I knit. A lot. I really like spending time with my friends and building memories – WOW… that was awfully Hallmark of me… let me correct that. I like hanging out with my peeps and making inside jokes… ahhhh, that’s better!
What's your biggest pet peeve?
Closed-Mindedness and Tardiness. I live by the rule: “If I’m early, I’m on time. If I’m on time, I’m late. If I’m late, send help.” We all know that there is going to be traffic, so don’t make traffic your excuse. J
I also have a low tolerance for closed-mindedness. We are all from different walks of life, people. There will be some who do things differently than you, so just accept that now, learn from each other, and move on without judgement.

OMG that was too funny!
Why did I wait to listen to this??? I needed to listen to this a lot sooner for the "laugh value". Jeff shouldn't quit his day job! LOL
