A Man!

Jim, a good friend of the Morning Show, sent me a message today that says, "Just as an aside......we found a photo of a couple of guys that would like to meet Stef. We think this is NOT a good idea for her."

All kidding aside.

This is a photo by photographer Roger Ballen taken in 1993. The men in the photo are twins, Dresie and Casie, from Western Transvaal, South Africa. Here is what Ballen had to say regarding the brothers:

"As far as I know,' says Ballen, 'Dresie and Casie moved out of South Africa. I haven't seen them for seven or eight years. That's my most famous picture, and while it isn't my favourite, it is an archetype of what I mean by The Shadow Chamber (the title of a book of his work). It's like looking at primitive man, who is maybe still carrying within him aspects of being a fish, or a reptile."
