Sham Wow Dude ARRESTED!!!

‘ShamWow Guy’ Vince Shlomi Punches Prostitute Who Bit His Tongue
Atlanta, GA 3/30/2009 04:24 PM GMT (TransWorldNews)
Infomercial host Vince Shlomi, best known for selling the Sham-Wow product, is accused of punching a prostitute who he claims bit his tongue and wouldn’t let go.
Police say Shlomi, 44, and Sasha Harris, 26, were both booked for felony aggravated battery in the incident in February.
According to reports, Shlomi met Harris in a Miami Beach nightclub and later paid her $1,000 for “straight sex.” They went back to Shlomi’s room at the Setai hotel where Harris allegedly bit his tongue and wouldn’t let go after he attempted to kiss her.

Shlomi told cops he began punching Harris until she released his tongue. Both were taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center and treated for their injuries.
Prosecutors have declined to pursue formal charges against the pair.

The 100 Movie Challenge

Yahoo released a list of the "100 Movies to See Before You Die." Lists like this are always up for debate because there are a lot of movies that go missing that we all argue should be part of it.
That having been said...

I have been put to the challenge to watch these 100 movies PLUS add my picks throughout. I will try to watch three movies a week; two of the list's choices and one of my own, and post my reviews here for your pleasure.

If anyone wants to follow along on my cinematic adventure, get those Netflix accounts going!

First two movies from Yahoo's list of "100 Movies to See Before You Die":

  • 12 Angry Men (1957): A guilty verdict means death -- but the jury's not about to let that spoil their day. Twelve men must decide the fate of an 18-year-old boy accused of fatally stabbing his father. Only one (Henry Fonda) wants to take the time to coolly deliberate the case. Sidney Lumet (Network) made his directorial debut in this fiery drama that illuminates all the petty impediments on the path to justice.

  • 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968): Based on Arthur C. Clarke's story "The Sentinel," Stanley Kubrick's quiet masterpiece probes the mysteries of space and human destiny. In the years between primitive man's discovery of lethal weapons and the birth of the star child, astronauts David Bowman (Keir Dullea) and Frank Poole (Gary Lockwood) confront HAL-9000, the computer operating their ship. Nominated for four Academy Awards, Kubrick's epic won for its stunning special effects.

My pick:

  • 200 Cigarettes (1999): Set on the last day of 1981, 200 Cigarettes is a manic romantic comedy that follows a group of loquacious, chain-smoking 20-somethings seeking love and happiness as they converge for a blowout party in New York City's East Village. The stellar cast -- which includes Ben Affleck, Christina Ricci, Kate Hudson and Janeane Garofalo -- lights up the screen.

I haven't been able to find the right picture, but Ariel and Courtney Cox are strikingly similar:
